My first stab at a World War Z fanfic, written because I was pissed that James Badge Dale’s character was axed off after only five minutes of screen time, and because I’d had yet to see the dude show up in fanfic. BOO. I mean, I can’t be the only one who thinks Captain Speke deserves more, right? 

And on a related side note: Speke and Segen. That is a ship I will go down with. Pretty sure those two would’ve won the apocalypse (and the movie, for that matter) if they’d had the chance to meet up. The great thing about being a writer is that they CAN meet up and kick zombie ass. :)
