N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice)
Things are gonna get a teeny tiny pinch salty in here for a sec, I think. Not much though, I promise. So three things...
More mixing between divisions within the fandom. Everything feels a lot more categorized by who ships what now, with some exceptions--but those exceptions don’t seem to be the rule. In the past it seemed like this was not always a determining factor behind the crowd you interacted with, and I feel like there was more varied support in action, with a wider sense of community. Granted, I do know there is a downside to this possibility as well since anti activity seems to be higher now, so perhaps the two go hand in hand.
More true support for rare pairings in fanfic. There has always been a lot of lip service and praise surrounding the concept, but often the only time this is put into action is when rarepair content is written or created specifically by BNFs. It can be pretty discouraging for new authors and old ones alike.
More general interaction and less passive consumption across the board. And I don’t necessarily mean comments - reblogs alone are so, so helpful. But I think you’ll be hard pressed to find a creator who doesn’t feel this way.
Q - A ship you’ve abandoned and why
I don’t know if it’s really abandoned, but I don’t seek out KakaSaku much anymore. I think perhaps my pool of ships got a lot wider and their dynamic was not as compelling as others to me? I’ll always have some fave stories, and there is a lot of fantastic art, but of late it doesn’t seem to draw me in the same way.
R - A pairing you ship that you don’t think anyone else ships
I’ll have to fudge this one a little bit, because even the tiny ships I think don’t appeal to the wider fandom have a couple folks clinging to their respective pool noodles with me. JiraDan is one of them, RasaOro is another.
