It was raining outside with a cold that sat in your bones making you feel miserable. "Yu," it was weird using his first name at first but now that Yui was used to it, it felt right. "Get your butt over here and keep me warm." (As the ss MichiNoya braves the cold)
The bus was late. Why was the bus late. Had he offended the bus god at some point, not made his sacrifice? That was the only reason he thought justified enough to make both of them wait out in the rain. The cold, cold- did he mention cold- rain. It sunk down through his clothes and left him feeling like he had jumped into a shower with his clothes on. And he was cold.
He jumped at the sound of Yui’s voice, and his head flicked back to where Michimiya stood behind him. He made a noncommittal noise but moved all the same, slinging his backpack onto the other shoulder so that he could lean against her side. They were getting closer, no doubt about it. The whole reason they were out here in the first place was because practice had run late and they had still for some god-forsaken reason decided to walk home together. He was starting to regret that decision now, mostly because she wouldn’t be stuck out in this if it wasn’t for him. To be fair he preferred having her here. Two wet rats was better than one. Plus, despite her request towards him, she was pretty warm herself.
"If either of us gets a cold from this, I will personally ensure that the bus driver disappears mysteriously." Another shiver ran through him and he brushed his wet bangs out of his face. There wasn’t enough hair gel in the world to prep him for this cloudburst.
