i can really hear the influence of bjork on this album. twigs like to use a synth effect that i like to call ‘snake scales’ in at least one track on all of her projects. lots of influence from afro beats and bollywood esque vocal flips. can’t wait for the extended edition (hope there will be one). to quote imogen heap “an audacious, playful, and highly enjoyable album!”
