Car rental #2 - 3/10/18 After talking w @lightdud-blog, I was able to start the car this time! I press the brake pedal and then hit the start button. I also figured out how to turn on the front lights and the fan. I think I've gotten myself familiarized enough with the inside of the car again. Time to actually drive this thing! My friend from work is willing to help me practice next week so that'll be my next practice session! 3/10/18

Car savings update - 7/19/18

I’m buckling down on finally buying a car this year.

I drew up a 6 month plan to buy a used car for less than $6,200. 

It’s not the 20th yet but I can see my paycheck paystub a day early.

Planning on contributing $1,035 per month for the next 6 months. I still budgeted all my bills, my laser hair removal and $200 for food, fun money etc. 

My primary goals for the remaining 24 weeks will be to:

1) Buy a used car 2) Get back in shape 3) Get hired at a new strip club in Denver

+ Breakfast: Vanilla berry protein smoothie

+ Snack: ½ c Oatmeal w/ fruit + Protein shake

+ Lunch: Vegan chicken spinach salad, piece of fruit

+ Snack: Protein shake

+ Dinner: Sweet potato, vegan protein & green beans or broccoli

+ Dessert: Ice cream or frozen fruit

* Drink AT LEAST 20 oz of water with each meal

Car Share

I’ve been having difficulty getting my friends to help me practice driving. I’ve been paying $12/month for the car share service I use. I’m still going to use the car share company until I buy my car but I switched to a different plan with no monthly fee. 

Should save me some money since I can’t use it on my own yet.

Car Rental #1 - 3/7/18 Cost: ~ $1.20 for 15 minutes Spent the first 5 minutes looking for the damn key only to release it had a start button instead 😩 Unfortunately, after I pressed start it prompted me to press the brake. I pressed the brake pedal and then later tried pressing the gas pedal too but car didn't start. Perhaps, it meant for me to put the car in neutral? So didn't happen today. But I did manage to turn on the radio and the interior lights 😃 Looking forward to my next try! 3/7/18
