Update on my solarpunk/lunarpunk/tidalpunk book
Likely title: Sunkeeper Series #1: The Carbon Coast
Recent progress: Formatting 2nd draft manuscript to begin to look like a published book (chapter headers, introductory info, title pages, etc.)
Current page count: 186 (and I have a lot left to write so this book should have a good length to it! 320 pages maybe?)
Current word count: 37,238 (getting there, final count will be around 80,000)
Book writing update, August 1st
56,000 words in the second rough draft of my solarpunk novel The Carbon Coast allowed me to "win" Camp NaNoWriMo (a novel writing challenge) in July. That gave me a discount on using Scrivener (book writing software) which is what I use to organize the world-building details of the novel as I write it!
I've begun the third draft of the novel. This one focuses on actually structuring everything into an actual book-like writing format. Draft 4 & 5 later focus on arranging everything, building good dialogue, more emotion, finer details, etc.
Hoping to get started on conducting solarpunk podcast interviews soon, I have about 8 people lined up for them already, just need to get my audio production flow for the podcast
Patreon and surrounding content still kind of on hold because I need to record the intro video and finish sound design on the first relaxing animated scene video in the style of ASMR Rooms on YouTube! In other words, if you'd like to feel like you're in the scenes of my solarpunk/lunarpunk/tidalpunk book via a relaxing YouTube video with animated art, expect the first one to be released this fall
Word count update on my Solarpunk/Lunarpunk novel: 34,074 words out of my abstract goal of 77,777 words total. More updates to come as I write more
