Ice cold to one cheek, piss warm to the other-- his brain was short-circuiting itself trying to figure which one was possibly worse in this instance. But, Junpei wasn’t Mitsuru. Akihiko could fight back. He had leverage.

"Hey is that Akihiko over there?" Junpei proceeds to steal Minako's fries when she isn't looking.

hunger  speaks  true  and  her  stomach  cannot  help  but  growl  alongside  internal  rhythm.  slender  arms  drape  over  lower  abdomen  and  she  waits  for  hermes  to  make  his  return  with  their  separate  order.  she  was  treating  today  ,  after  all.  it  was  only  fair  that  he  would  be  the  one  jumping  through  hoops  and  frankly  she  was  just  too  hungry  to  bother  with  anything  else.  (  although  she  has  a  feeling  that  he  was  just  as  hungry  as  her  )  ,  both  of  them  originally  missing  lunch  to  catch  up  on  some  assignments.  mitsuru  would  be  proud  ,  but  it  definitely  came  at  a  greater  cost.  turning  her  attention  to  the  upcoming  meal  ,  the  crimson  leader  can  only  smile  in  exchange.

junpei  points  to  the  window  as  he  sets  their  meal  on  the  table  ;  the  leader  looks  up  an  follows  his  finger  ,  only  to  see  nothing  but  children  and  their  parents  sitting  on  the  table  next  to  them.  ❝  ——  no  ,  i  don’t  see  him.  ❞  the  leader  replies  before  reaching  for  her  fries.  it  was  gone.  turning  her  head  ,  crimson  orbs  find  themselves  furrowing  in  exchange  as  junpei  triumphantly  consumes  her  dearest  fries.  ❝  junpei  !  ❞  she  all  but  cried  out  ,  arm  immediately  jolting  after  the  fries  cartoon  (  extremely  mindful  not  to  let  it  fall  ).  she  steals  the  fries  back  and  happily  takes  her  first  bite  before  sticking  her  tongue  out  to  the  magician.
