5 years of relevant work experience;
Strong English writing and communication skills.

Agile and scrum.

Is anyone here a medical coder? If so, how did you go about becoming one? I’ve been looking into online programs but I’m not sure which one to go through. I’ve been thinking about using CareerStep. What are your guys’ experiences?
Trying to make money from home
I’m working fulltime as a caregiver right now but I’ve recently enrolled in Career Step’s Medical Transcription program. I’m making myself put my all into this program, I don’t really like being in “school” again, but I’m paying three thousand bucks for this course so if I don’t put all my energy towards it its my own money and time I’m wasting. I really want to make a work at home job work. It is hard to make yourself study when you aren’t going to a physical school or have a teacher but I just keep reminding myself the more I put into this the better I will be at this job.
