Meet one of our new company members Carla!

Carla Maria Ramirez is 22 years old and her biggest passion is choreography and performance. She began her interest in performing at a very young age and was actively involved in performing arts programs. Carla Maria is a former member of VERVE dance company where she had the opportunity to learn from artists around the world. Some of the genres of dance that Carla actively trained in are ballet, modern, jazz and hip hop. Carla's choreography has been presented for adjudication at the 2016 American College Dance Association Festival(ACDA) as well as been previously awarded first place for solo choreography at the 2016 MCCCD Artist of Promise Competition. Carla is a graduate of Glendale Community College and holds her Associates degree in Dance. In the near future she hopes to further her training in performance and choreography.
