Saquir:

★ His favorite hawk is named Devrim, Dev for short, after his dead best friend, and he got raptors named after Kintai and Kicela too.

★ If he’s too strongly reminded of what happened to his friends or forced to talk about it, he has a tendency to start zooning out and disassociating. He prefer to avoid the subject completely.

☆ Initially when I created him I wasn’t planning to give him as much of a dark past, but when I got the idea of rebels going Bad to break the stereotype of rebels on Alternia as the “good guys” I couldn’t help myself. I wanted him to be redeemed though, so now he’s just carrying the heavy guilt over the things he did, thinking they were right, as well as the survivor’s guilt from his lost friends...

☆ I had HUGE issues finding a name I liked for Saq. I found several that had the right meaning, but nothing really sounded right? Eventually Hugo (@fantrollassemblage) found out and told me the arabic word for falcon is saqr, which I created the name Saquir from.

Wynjah:

★ Wynjah was for a long time very self conscious about her body type and tried (and failed) to lose weight a couple of times. She still are sometimes, like most are, but she’s come a long way and started to enjoy and accept the way she looks lately and even take pride in some parts of it.

★ She tries really hard to always be happy and helpful and to take care of everyone... Unfortunately, she easily forgets herself in all of this.

☆ If I recall things right, I originally drew her as a cute human girl, then later on I made her into a troll. o:

☆ The lil “ponytail” she got holding back her fringe is based on the way my hair looked once when I did that to keep it out of my eyes!

Carlos:

★ He look several sweeps younger when he shave... And actually, he didn’t have that beard before his escape from the fleet. Just a little stubble at most.

★ He think a lot more about his old friends from his time on Alternia than he like to admit, and sometimes it makes him feel lonely that most trolls he speak to are so much younger than him.

☆ I may or may not have been a little inspired by the sweet escape scene in Lilo & Stitch, where Stitch steals the one red space ship and escapes laughs... Now, Carlos escape was different, but still.

☆ His current reference, from this year, is the first real fullbody full color reference Carlos has... His old reference is from 2013 and inbetween there was nothing but doodles of him aside from his appearance in the plot line Unveiling The Past...

1. What’s an important lesson your muse has learned over the past few years and how has that changed the way they live

Pfffthhh.... Honestly he’s not yet learned much new things these /last years or sweeps/, aside from a ridiculous amount of ways to keep away from the radar of the fleet. And the rebels. Y’know. Just keeping away in general honestly.

8. How selfish/selfless is your muse? To what extent would they sacrifice themselves for others and is there anything they’d not give up?

Carlos is pretty selfish. He’s on his own side, doing his own shit, and cares most about his own freedom. That is not to say he’s selfish enough to be a total dick - he will give a friend a helping hand if needed, and if he met a starving guy on the street and was carrying around food he’d defs help them.

Buuuut... He’d not sacrifice his own freedom. Or you’d have to be really fucking important... Or have saved his life or some shit, if he does for you.

14. Do they take control or give control or do they believe in sharing power? What are their thoughts on control versus submission (either sexually or in relationships in general)? What do they think of authority?

Sharing power/going with the flow I guess? He’s kind of ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ about it all I guess. He goes his own way most of the time, but he’s absolutely no leader in most cases... So probably more of a follower if forced to act in a team.

In relationships too, sexually... He’s a bit of a switch. It all depends on the partner, honestly.

He shows the finger to authority. Quite literally. I mean, he did steal a fleet ship and escape so...

15. How materialistic are they? Do they often throw things out or are they hoarders? Do they store their memories in their heads, in photo albums or in countless of boxes of belongings in the attic?

Well, living in a small space ship, he can only have so many belongings. He like to keep around things from adventures and friends etc, photos is a thing, but he keeps what he got well hidden or easily destroyed since... Lets face it, if he is caught one day, whoever he got a photograph of would probably be in trouble.

So... Not very materialistic, most of the time, but a bit... Sometimes. He doesn’t hoard every little thing, but there are a few specific things he keep around that makes him sentimental, or things he simply think are kind of cool.

Seadweller, mercenary for hire, and nearing his 100th sweep. Friendly bloke that gets along well with his fellows, and loves to drink and gamble, though his type of ‘drink’ involves the kind seeped in poison. Hydra lusus, has an extreme tolerance to most poisons, and makes a game out of creating a variety of noxious blends of alcohol and various poisons, since he can’t get drunk off the normal stuff. Likes sword fighting and gunfights, and enjoys his nomadic and carefree lifestyle.

The only troll anywhere close to his age I have is Inaara, and while I feel like they could possibly have interesting conversations, I don’t think they would be quadrant material. o:

With his nomadic lifestyle, I could see him get along somewhat with Medwin did they ever meet, perhaps they’d wander together for some time before going different ways. Same if he met Carlos possibly, although Carlos doesn’t wander by foot but travels in his space ship. I mean, as long as he doesn’t mind an ex-fleet guy who’s hiding from said fleet.
