the neck strap actually kind of helps because you don't have to actually like, lift your sax? (i always got terrible heat rash from my neck strap tho) but my sax was made of nickel so it was way heavier than like a standard sax and i didn't realize it until i picked up someone else's and was like "but this is so light tho??????"

no no, i totally respect flute players. i couldn't hold that thing parallel to the ground for longer than like 30 seconds haha

idk man whenever we’re at the games i always hear the saxes complaining about how much their necks hurt. so either you have a superhuman neck or theyre just weak haha. but i still think playing the sax is harder than the flute, though. i mean like yeah it hurts to hold your arms up but luckily the songs we play are pretty short (or maybe i just got used to it lol).
