I went to have an initial thirty minute meeting w a local dog trainer yesterday and it turned into a three hour chat fest that ended in my baking my FIRST EVER loaf of bread as she was flabbergasted I never had and insisted we remedy that immediately. I'd never attempted it because it seemed like too many steps or out of my comfort zone make-it-up-as-you-go cooking style. But I was wrong! It wasn't hard at all. In fact, it was pretty simple. Of course the possibility for diversity and improvement are pretty much endless, but the point was that we often avoid things we think are hard- whether it be baking or talking to strangers and we miss out on a challenge that could be so exciting and rewarding. We bonded over our love of cooking and plan to bake pie together later this week. 😊People are funny that way. You give em a little love and focus and they bloom right open like a flower, their spirits rise like bread. Love on people today. It will fill your heart, and sometimes even your belly. ❤🍞 #tablerich #carlybrittainwrites
