Sorry to bother you with this again. Seeing your post about "Atlus protecting-us-from-spoilers policies" I want to ask: are the screenshots and recording built-in functions of the Playstation 4 STILL disabled on the Japanese imported Persona 5? Does it depend on the console instead? Supposedly after 2 months or so Atlus will leave the fandom alone about the "I'll take your channel down if you post spoilers" thing,so I'm curious if they'll finally leave alone these functions as well. Okay, I have bad news for you:

Disabling the sharing function on JRPGs is, sadly, something Japanese companies tend to do. I mean some, (like Square) at least unlock the sharing functions outside of plot related cutscenes, but, sadly, ATLUS took the lazy route here and just disabled the entire game, A to Z, without discriminating, which can get pretty annoying, especially when you get a message that the game failed to take a screenshot every time you get a new achievement.

So yeah. That feature is disabled on the Japanese version as well, and yeah, there’s no defending that, since disabling the entire game globally is just lazy, even if you’re searching to avoid spoiler postings. I will not be defending that choice.

Pretty sure a lot of people think I’m “joking” too when I post about how Genos should really reconsiderate what kind of person he is when he even FORCES someone to move flats so he can stay as close to Saitama’s as possible WHEN SAITAMA ARRANGED FOR THEM NOT TO BE FLATMATES ANYMORE. Yeah that...really bothered me, too. Like, dude, Class-S hero or no, you can’t just MAKE someone give you their home just because you want a particular neighbor, what the actual fuck. Please, ONE, have Genos do some intense soul-searching because he’s honestly not that great a person. (And also, in the vein of the house thing, it also kind of bothers me when people show Saitama and Genos being all domestic with Rover...when Saitama pawned him and Black Sperm off on the first people he could?? Like please, fandom, acknowledge that these characters have flaws, I am begging you.)

pretty sure it’s just people kidding around in most cases… but when it’s clearly not, it’s also something I try to distance myself as much as I can, for obvious reasons… while I’m ok with people liking “yandere” traits and writing whatever they want, because I wouldn’t know where to draw a fair line, I still don’t want to have ANYTHING to do with such content when it’s not even a joke :(

I mean, from what I’ve seen, even when people are just joking around...that is the joke. “Genos is an abusive stalker. Look at him threatening Saitama’s other friends. It’s funny. LAUGH” Which, you know, if that’s what constitutes as a joke with them, that’s fine I suppose, I can’t make them see differently--but it’s such a common thing and so widely-accepted by the fandom that there’s no actual way of avoiding it outside of blacklisting the entire Genos tag...which is obviously kind of detrimental if I want to enjoy any OPM content at all.

Hi! Maybe this have been asked before, but how much time do we have to "still count in"? I know we don't need to post Day 1 pics on the same exact day, but I'm wondering, there is a deadline of some short I guess? Thanks for your time replying ^^

Since saigenos week has become a regular annual event, I’d say the deadline is until same time next year, so don’t worry!

However, the mods might take a while to notice your entry if it’s more than a week late. So if you want to get on the blog quickly at that point, send in an ask announcing your post, or submit it to us directly.

I just don’t want another queer character like Puri Puri… thankfully they seem to have forgotten about this character in the latest arcs of the webcomic and manga, but it’s just sad that I have to wish the one official gay character in the series would not be there! Itachi seems like a ray of sunshine so far though, hope it continues to be that way asdf

Yeah...like a lot of other things in the series (and fandom), I didn’t really pay much mind to Puri’s awfulness until months after I discovered OPM when I realized that he was just...no. Absolutely not. I hope he’ll stay gone, or at least get some fuckin’ character development that leads to him realizing that the shit he pulls is Not Okay. Buuut I won’t hold my breath for that since development outside of like five characters is basically nonexistent (which I guess is fair enough since side characters aren’t made for that kind of stuff).  But, yeah, my precious sword daughter is wonderful so far in that she’s not portrayed as being gross or weird and everyone seems to treat her with respect and doesn’t subject her to the typical kinds of jokes you’d expect when dealing with a trans character, and I hope she stays that way. I mean, again, side character, so the chances of her getting some radical change Just Because are slim, but I still worry, especially since the whole world seems to be getting more and more vocally anti-trans lately. She’s in my top five favorite characters and I hope she stays the way she is--happily being herself without ridicule, being grumped at for her behavior rather than her identity.

In the webcomic, Flash wears typical Sengoku-fiction ninja wear though! I don't know how much of the webcomic you've read if any (the original by ONE, not the online manga version of Yusuke Murata) but he uses some of the same techniques as Sonic (like Wind Blade Kick). Murata often changes a lot the designs for the online manga version (not the webcomic) to the physical version for sale ha ha look at how Stinger change for instance!

They often change it to make it more similar to ONE's original designs before the volume is out for sale. Notice how Flash used to have really long hair many chapters ago and in the manga, but now Murata changed it to much shorter hair like in the webcomic (for Sonic, they devised the excuse that Genos cut his hair, and now he looks like webcomic Sonic again ha ha)

Flash has very long hair in the anime and in the first panels of him the manga adaptation, back before Boros's attack, I meant XDDD

Well, it’s just pure my theory and speculation. Sonic said he is from a ninja village who trained from childhood. Flash doesn’t seem like a ninja to me, his wardrobe draws attention with its brights colors unlike a ninja who usually wears apparel of dark hues like Sonic’s.

Flash speed run produced shockwaves in chapter 104 whereas Sonic never made shockwaves on par with what he produces becacause Sonic is (supposedly) a silent assassin. We are no longer a ninja if we produce a tornado while moving.

If we look at the last pic that I’ve posted, Flash sword seems longer than Sonic. What Sonic uses probably is ninjatou (ninja-sword) which is shorter than regular katana. Here, it is stated that for convenience the ninja would choose a blade that was shorter and straighter than usual. Flash likely uses standard katana. 

I’ve read the webcomic (up to the fights with Garou). Yes, Flash is more like a ninja than in redrawn manga, but during his fight with Garou, it seems that he didn’t bring any weapon other than his sword (which is already broken by Saitama), that is why he used bare-hands (fists) instead, unlike Sonic who usually brings typical ninja weapons like exploding shuriken and kunai. His fighting style is very similar with Sonic and yet is very contrast too. We can say that perhaps they had trained with the same master, both are specialized in speed and got the same speed techniques and moves but decided to create their own styles and do it with their own ways instead.

ONE and Murata, please stop teasing us, I really want to know what kind of relationship they have!!! >.<
