The Moldy Peaches – Carnegie Hall – June 26, 2026

Local anti-folk heroes the Moldy Peaches began making sweet music together more than 30 years ago. Following the release of their only studio album in 2001, they opened for the Strokes across the world before breaking up in 2004. Original members Kimya Dawson and Adam Green have since reunited a few times over the years, including when “Anyone Else but You” became a hit after being included on the Juno soundtrack in 2007. And they just did it again on Friday for a one-night-only intimate, acoustic show at Carnegie Hall.

I had the extraordinary honor of meeting the legendary Nobuo Uematsu and his incredible ensemble at his Con Tiki show in New York at Carnegie Hall! 🥳

His music means SO much to me and to finally meet him and witness his greatness in person was incredible!

Final Fantasy X was the first one I played and I’d watch my uncle play the game as a kid. A fleeting dream was also the first song I heard from him and is something that brings me wonderful nostalgia every time I hear it now. ❤️

I had him sign my FF15 Limited Edition art book! He worked on a few songs in the game and I thought it’d be special to have him sign it since 15 is my number one favorite Final Fantasy. I love how video game music brings people together. The show was so fun and I felt the emotional energy from the audience as they played wonderful Final Fantasy songs that meant a lot to us gamers. I highly recommend checking out his Con Tiki shows. Smaller and more intimate than Distant Worlds but just as fun! Would love to go to another one down the line!!
