I think Hikaru would go bald from stress.

Asuma would go bald bc he has the thinnest hair

Jin would go bald bc he'd Hate being bald.

Young Jin complained he doesn't look like anyone in the family.

Once he goes bald he can finally, with utter shame, admit, he does look like his dad.

Since Gonzo Kagemori is bald and baldness can be inherited i say Jin is totally going to go bald as he grows older.

his brothers don't really look like they care that much whether they have hair or not, but he got it styled up front, obscuring his forehead. Also he's the youngest.

Hikaru just looks sheepish, cares only about manga. Looks dangerous only if he forces it or in bad mood.

Asuma looks shady and he doesn't seem to care too much about it. He slicks his hair back so it looks neat and classy and doesn't go into his face. He'd survive bald though he'd be sad bc he has hair after his mother.

Jin however? It feels like he used to hate his 'pernament scowl' face. As an adult he ever so slightly obstructs his face with hair and glasses. He knows he looks thuggish. He'd totally look even more thuggish if he was bald. I think he'd be devastated. The genetics would kill him. He'll definitely go bald.🕯️

Hikaru Hagure's development in Yomi no Tsugai really makes me think of "choices one has to make", "responsibilities", "what if there is no choice", etc etc. Sometimes to draw is to free yourself. Sometimes to draw is to run away from truth. Is he fighting? Is he running away? Maybe both, but maybe he finds peace in it? All Hikaru Hagure wants to do is create his manga in peace; in the same time however he's the eldest son of a shady clan family. Should he continue his dream? Will he be able to continue his dream?

And it does make me think of Hiromu Arakawa before creating Fullmetal Alchemist, pondering whether she should draw or take care of the family's farm. She had to choose one thing over the other in the end.
