Whenever I enter a toystore, I always ask if they have playing cards. More often than not, they tell me that they do not have "gambling cards" because obviously they are not for kids. However, doing this for the past 10 years, I have discovered that manufacturers usually create playing cards from cartoons because they are practical and economical. Playing cards are the usual "go to" print material when it comes to advertising. They are useful, therefore it sticks to people and make them appreciate whatever product they have more. On Tuesdays I would like to share bits and pieces of my cartoon cards collection and those of here and overseas that I would love to acquire in the future.
