Whats powells

It’s a new and used bookstore in Portland. It’s also an entire city block in Portland:

Inside, there’s so ... much that it’s hard for any single picture to really give an idea of what it’s like, but it’s enough that the main entrance starts you off with a directory

here’s a little strip of it, though:

They have a million books in their main location (there are a few other locations, including a (somewhat) more moderately-sized one in the suburbs and a few specialty ones, but nothing quite like the original, aka “the City of Books”).
