Could someone help me remember a thing? Please.
So this is a strange but I’ve reached a brick wall. I have a story stuck in my head and I can’t figure out where it came from. Google and my mind have failed me. Maybe someone here knows what I’m talking about?
I remember watching (reading?) some science fiction story about this pink goo that could do anything. I mean ANYTHING. It had a really silly name. It could fix broken pipes, or bones, or your car. You just smacked it on a flat tire and magic, it fixed it. People would eat it for health benefits or slap some on their head to reduce hair loss, and all that stuff. It was long lasting and very versatile.
But after months of this, people realized it was causing cancer or something. So everyone started trying to throw away this goo stuff, but they couldn’t cause it was indestructible basically. And I forget the details, but basically they found a way to store it all on a big hole or something and everyone went back to their normal lives. With the moral of the story being something like don’t trust marketing or big business or don’t take the lazy way out, i don’t really know.
The vague outline of this story is ingrained in my head and I can’t figure out where it came from. Maybe I dreamt it? It had strong BlackMirror vibes, but by looking back through the episode list, none of them jump out as correct. Maybe a YouTube video? Idk. Please help, I’ll pay you in a very sincere thank you.
