The gym in the Hub wasn't in that much use -- or he was always present at weird hours, entirely possible as waking early was still ingrained to his very core, but today greeted him with a surprise of another presence. Not to lie, he was a tad too pleased as feet carried over to the male he can't remember having seen before, a friendly if not cheeky smile directed at them once eyes met his. "Come here often?" Light humour was present in tone, but no he wasn't playing it as anything else than a bad and overused pick up line, the best kind of ice breaker. Also response would tell him more than one to a simple cursory hello ever would. The most important being if the other was worth a second of his time.
