“I, uhm... That’s... My shirt...” He told her quietly. He couldn’t help but freeze up a little. This thing with them was new, but Cash couldn’t imagine he’d ever get used to something like this. He swallowed.

Cash was entirely unaware of Christy’s eyes on him or the sexual tension she felt. He was much too busy trying to be and do what his cousin wanted, so of course he saw nothing of him trying to fix his belt. He sighed as he looked up at her stopping mid action, “it’s missing a hole.”

Cash shook his head. For everything he had been through he should love being on earth. He should be dancing for joy, but no it was all bittersweet. She swallowed. 

“You,” he started to remind her how he ended up in lock up, but he decided that maybe it was best not to bring it up. His dad had set him on fire and in retaliation he practically stomped him to death. Then his dad had the nerve to try to get him to say he started the fire. “Yeah, I’m good.”

He may have been of royal blood but his father's choices complicated that for him, so instead of a prince he became a noble knight which wasn't much different except he technically had no land to call his own. In the event that day he had hoped the secret prize would be land. He fought his hardest, until all others lay broken or in rest and then at the end when the crowds cheered his name as he stood on display with his cousin he saw her. "You see cousin I was so sure you'd be our victor that I got procured a special prize for the event." Luke said as he patted Cash on the back. The idea that he had been fighting for the "rights" to a princess made him uneasy. He was shocked to say the least. "Surely... This is a joke," Cash said quietly. Luke laughed, "it's no joke she's yours."
