Casper is very unhappy with his wrinkles, even though he looks virtually the same.
Casper splashed around halfheartedly at the beach after Courtney turned him down, but he quickly bounced back from the rejection, and paid Courtney a late-night visit at her house.
She kept trying to go to sleep. Casper, as a night owl, was undeterred.
Courtney was open to friendship, but every time Casper tried flirting, he was immediately rejected.
Casper, hoping for some attention from a younger woman so he could recapture his youth, invited Courtney to visit the beach with him. But as soon as she realized the "group outing" was just going to be the two of them, she ran away. Probably a good move. Town this small, people will talk.
Casper's friend Riley invited him to a party. Her son, Michael, picked a fight, asking Casper to "debate" him. His mom is very stressed out by this (and no doubt also by the fact that her other son is grown and married, with a newborn, but still lives at home rent-free.) On top of it all, her dishwasher just broke :(
While Christian was having her little flirtation, Casper and Daphne were having a day out at the movies. Casper liked the bro movie ("Brews and Pounds"); Daphne did not.
An awkward couple's dinner. Casper has that wish to divorce Christian. Christian has a wish to move out. Midlife crisis is really doing a number on them, and they're only like five minutes in.
Ahmed had managed to learn all the WA songs from tourists he met in Sunset Valley, and I've been trying to pass them down through the generations. Love hearing my sims sing to themselves in the shower or while they're cooking. I do exactly the same thing.
It was also Christian's birthday, because I changed the age ranges around, and she ALSO entered a midlife crisis. This is going to be interesting.
I usually can't see much of a difference when a sim ages up, but with Christian, I definitely think she looks more mature. I gave her a makeover to match.
