Nova was smushed onto his lap, her head under his chin, paws pressing against his chest as she applied what pressure she could in the environment they were in. With shaking hands he patted Nova’s side so she would move off of him. “I’m sorry. I… I didn’t mean to bother anyone I’m not…” Could he even drive right now? “I’ll be going in a moment. I just need to get myself together.”
