Love to see a fellow tapehead on tumblr! How do you record music onto your tapes? Personally I get the album in .flac format from soulseek and record with an audio interface. Could you share more pics of the Aiwa and the Atronic pretty pleasee??

sorry for taking a while to get to this, i honestly don't do anything that interesting, just a 3.5mm adapter from my phone to the recorder (through some meh quality cables) while playing an album or playlist from spotify, but after changing phones I've just run the cable from my PC instead.

I think i managed to damage or unseat a cable while trying to do azimuth adjustment on my recorder (the cable to the play/record head was directly above the adjustment screw so i had to push it out of the way), playback is kinda skippy now and because i don't have much experience with electrics i haven't really taken the time to sit down and sort it out, so I haven't done any recently...

the Aiwa was a present to my brother and SIL so there won't be any more photos of it, once I've got it sorted I'll try getting more photo/video of the SL 837!
