When the angels fall and Cas loses his wings, we see that his (and the other angels) wings are broken and torn up in his shadow.

I wonder if he has chronic pain because of that. If his back and wings hurt all the time and there's just nothing that can be done about it. I believe he's said he misses his wings at one point, but it would make sense that them being broken/burnt would be painful. Does anyone know if there's a fic that addresses this?
