THE MARQUIS / Heechul Intermediary / Bartender / Peacekeeper
The Marquis, known to some as “Mother”, owns and operates the last peaceful location left to gangs operating within the city, The Bar at the End of The Road. Here he rules through the strict peacekeeping laws established decades ago - no fights, no weapons, no shoes - no service.
The Marquis is respected almost universally amongst the separate gangs, perhaps because people realise that there is very little he doesn’t already know and it’s better to be on his good side than the alternative...
GIGI / Seulgi Personal Bodyguard / Bouncer
Gigi is one half of The Marquis’ personal guard force, as well as a full time bouncer at the End of the Road. She and Luna are exceedingly well thought of in the gang circles and both were prominent Free Agents before being signed to work for the Marquis. Gigi is the more cheeky of the two, and is also a shade more laid back or ‘messier’ than her counterpart. Whilst Gigi is often assumed the more lenient, she is just as vengeful and dangerous as her sister.
LUNA / Irene Personal Bodyguard / Bouncer
Luna operates as the second half of The Marquis’ personal guard, as well as acting as Host & Bouncer at the End of the Road. Luna was well known as a Free Agent for her cleanliness and accuracy with an almost clinical attention to detail. She carried these skills through to her work for the Marquis by taking on a lot of his events and correspondence, as well as keeping tabs on just about everyone who comes through the door. Not one to cross.
LUCAS MCBRIDE / Shownu Heir / Interested Party
Little is known about McBride, whose family dominates the far eastern borders of the city, coming from a family that keeps relatively to itself. Whilst his hiring of Happy says a lot about his potential intentions, his politics and opinion are yet to be observed. His family is known for their shrewdness above all other aspects, so it is expected he will have Opinions™️ about the topics up for debate.
Its said that Lucas hides a lot of his talents, preferring to come across as a simple, down to earth type, but, this dog’s bite is definitely worse than it’s bark.
HAPPY / Wonho Personal Bodyguard / Ex-Free Agent
It’s said that Lucas McBride paid top dollar to secure Happy as a personal bodyguard; something completely unsurprising to anyone who actually knew Happy. A well established Free Agent, Happy’s CV is almost as long as...well, let’s just say its long. Happy was born outside the House system but grew up in the same suburbs, and has long since been considered an honorary member, working jobs for most of the larger families.
Whilst enemies will only ever know the deadly side of Happy, his nickname hints at the duality present in this assassin. Cheerful, generous and surprisingly softhearted, Happy could literally kill with kindness. But what a way to go, huh?
HRH, THE PRINCE / Taemin Royalty / Interested Party
There’s not many people who can outclass pretty much everyone in the room at a gathering such as a Crime Family State Dinner, but His Royal Highness, The Prince is one of them.
Effortlessly charismatic and stylish, the Prince holds a lot of power and sway in the country at large, but it is his silent machinations in the crime world that have made real change possible for the families involved. Its unknown exactly how the Prince became so directly involved with this particular cause, but some speculate His Highness’ desires don’t exactly run along the straight and narrow, and that his involvement with the crime families hasn’t always been ‘purely business’.
YVES (pronounced ‘Key’) / Key Tailor / Informant / Contractor
When you buy a suit from Yves you aren’t just paying for expensive silks or tweeds imported direct from Saville Row, what you’re actually paying for is the 20 minutes that you as a buyer get to spend with Yves alone.
Whilst Yves is a trained tailor, his real business is information brokering, and business ...is booming. Fabulous yet fastidious, Yves is always dressed in the height of haute couture and very little passes his scrupulous eyes unobserved.
Very susceptible to flattery.
ROMAN / Jay Park Contractor (Guns), Ex-Free Agent
Long affiliated with the Houses, Roman is an ex-Free Agent turned gang contractor who specialises in rare guns. A known player, Roman is unapologetically upbeat and charismatic, often to the point of others’ annoyance.
Roman has tried to hit on pretty much every female assassin in the game, with varying degrees of success. He was close to the Greek Line guards within Seokjin’s house, especially Artemis & French, who worked with him on several missions. As such his continued presence within the House is ‘accepted’ rather than ‘encouraged’.
Roman’s good friends with Happy (who he teases mercilessly), and has also previously worked with Sway, Blanca and Tao. Has a big thing for Valentine.
VALENTINE / Sunmi Free Agent / Interested Party
Valentine has been one of the best freelance assassins working for the last five years running, but brutal House-led blacklisting has brought her infamy and dried up a good deal of her contracts. Unwilling to be silenced, Valentine takes work from all parties without alliances or apologies, and continues to refuse to join a new House, vowing publicly to bring the system down around her if necessary.
Valentine operates alone, but due to her working for any open contracts, her style and skill set are pretty widely known. This works for and against her, with both her employers and her enemies knowing exactly what she is capable of. To counter these known aspects of her life, Valentine is incredibly removed from any social aspects of crime world life. As such, to see her in the flesh can sometimes be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
THE MAJOR / THE BUYER / Kiki International Recruiter / Problem Solver
The Major (or ‘The Buyer’) may be a hidden figure within the crime world, but she is definitely a known one. She specialises in recruitment and matchmaking and is an essential contact point for all Houses if they find themselves in a fix. Incredibly hard to locate but always with her ear to the ground, The Major also works for a special high-contract fee as a problem solver, a skill which keeps her wealthy and in-demand.
The Major was instrumental in many of the ‘out of house hires’ that Seokjin’s family made (French, for example) as well as operating as a field consultant for in-House promotions (the hiring of Sway, Zeus, Artemis, Duchess, Virgo - who all joined the House after operating as Free Agents but were Houseborn).
Favours owed by the Major are hard to come by but well worth the while.

Step 1: stop checking your email
Step 2: check one last time to make sure it wasn't posted in the 5 secs you weren't looking at your email.
Repeat about 50 times until the castlist is posted or you throw your phone out a window
