So various notes to go up!

As I have written before the chapter going up on Still Breathing, a lot of stuff been going on and sorry my updates have been very scarce of late!

Alright, first bit I promised since some people have been commenting about getting lost with who I’ve used or not yet in my cast…. Here’s a current list of who I have put in and their current ages. Since I have not gone anywhere NEAR the ages or such of the originals. Some are older, some waaaaaaaaaay younger. I have a lot of reasons for these choices besides just the ‘creative license’ of a writer. In some cases, like with Feferi and Eridan, you know what? I just wanted to give those two a real childhood. With people that love them and friends and to not be alone. For many that I choose to make either children or grubs is for much the same reason. Others, who might be related in the series I may have gone a different direction. Partly because when I started this story I meant for a VERY SMALL cast, (it was originally intended to be a RomCom staring Hope and Gamzee with a little pale fun on the side staring Karkat) it has slowly become this bigger story over time.  Where the Ancestors and everyone started to show up in. But very much as its over unique world setting separate from the game/comic setting.

As another note too, the additions of the dansestors actually got made pretty recently. When I first started this story three years ago, they had not yet existed in the comics! (but were very close to being revealed) and then it took me a little to start seeing where they could even fit.

I still have a few people that I am not sure on, and some who over time have decided to shift a bit on me, so even if they got mentioned in a certain way in the early stuff, changes from the comics or other things have effected that and I may not have gone back and made those corrections yet. (don’t mind though, its just really minor stuff really!)

Trolls Post, Scratch and Ancestors:

Gamzee: Apparent age Mid twenties. Currently found snuggling his human pillow named Hope.

Karkat: Apparent age Mid twenties. Currently likely starting to wonder if he’s still going to have a job after all this nonsense.

Terezi: Apparent age Mid Twenties. Defense lawyer. Who will take on just about any kind of other law if you will let her.

Sollux: Apparent Age early twenties. Psionic bartender working at Trillians

Equius: Apparent age Late Twenties. Bouncer at Trillians

Nepeta: Apparent age Early Twenties. Currently taking up a new job as a Queen for the rebuilt Mississippi river Delta Egg Hive

Feferi: Apparent age 6-7; Is the heiress and Princess to the Empress’s Throne of the Trolls.

Eridan: Apparent Age 6-7 ; one of Fereri’s Princes. Born advisor and body guard for the young Heiress.

Vriska: Apparent Age mid to late twenties; Sometimes seen at Trillians. May possibly be dating John.

Kanaya: Apparent Age Late twenties: Currently preparing to undergo the transformation to become the new Mother Grub for the Mississippi Egg Hive.

Tavros: -Passed away on the Refugees ships/never made it to Earth-

Aradia:  -Unknown-

Meenah: Apparent Age Mid Teens. Has given up any pretentions to the troll royalty and wants to go into business. Has adopted herself a human Lusus who is a Marine Biologist and is currently living in Canada where she sets up betting pools to hockey games.

Aranea: -Unknown-

Kurloz: Apparent Age Late teens: Recently only showed up in the dabbles, after the events of Still Breathing. Taking back his position as Meenah’s Juggalo.

Grand Highblood: Apparent age Late thirties. District Ruler Highblood of the Mississippi Delta region and runner of the night club Trillians. Currently dating his human assistant Unique.

Dolorosa: Mothergrub spirit. Ageless. And very Dead.

Sufferer: One of the main religious Icons of one of the currently known religions of Alternia. Died a Martyr. Grand Highblood may possibly be a follower.

Psionic: Burned out getting the Empress’s ship to earth –dead-

Disciple: -Unknown, likely dead-

Handmaid –Unknown-

Summoner: Apparent age: Mid thirties. Works under Karkat at his office and eventually rises to take his position when Karkat changes jobs as hinted at in the Dabbles

Executioner: -Unknown-

Empress: THIS FISHBITCH IS DEADINSKY! There was the possibility of her being alive, but that was actually a huge fat lie. Instead they had been Holding Meenah and tried to claim they have the Empress instead.

Orphaner: Dead, killed by Gamzee.

Mindfang: -Unknown-

 Kids Post Scratch and Ancestors:

John: age Early twenties- he works under Karkat. May possibly be dating Vriska

Jade: Late twenties – Kickass mom of Eric and caretaker for Feferi

Dave: Early twenties – Dj gets hired by Trillians pretty often

Rose: Teen – Eventually gets taken into Unique and Grand Highblood’s custody.

Dirk: Mid to Late twenties- Former Military, currently helping his little brother’s DJ business as the manual set up and take down guy.

Roxy: Mid to Late twenties- Missing

Jane: -Unknown-

Jake: Mid Twenties-  Coat Check guy and ID check for Trillians. Also GH’s undercover guy.

Dad-bert –unknown-

GrandPa  -dead of old age-

GrandMa –unknown likely dead-

Bro: Or Dad of Dave and Dirk. Dead in a car crash.

Mom: Mother of Rose and Roxy, dead in accident. May be connected to the same one that killed Dave and Dirk’s parents.

 Other Cast:

Eri’s Seahorse Dad: Lusus, Large flying white seahorse. More than a little anti-social and not sure what he thinks of all these new ideas and how things are being done.

I am not sure if I will be adding any of the Felts or other characters from the series. If I can figure out a way to fit them in I will. So, not likely to see Lord English or anyone like that for now. (unless I turn them into trolls and have them take the places of some of the other District Highbloods)  May though see some of the other Lusii.

Original Cast Members:

Hope:Age early to mid twenties: One of the only human Lusus currently on earth. Caretaker for the jade blood Tavros who was named for Gamzee’s former matesprit.

Tavros Newell: Apparent Age 5-6- Adopted child of Hope and named for Gamzee’s former lover. A Jade blood male troll

Eric: 5-6 Jade’s son and bound to Feferi. He very possibly may have inherited the Empress lifespan in the deal. Given the Title of Prince and Heir.  To mark his new status from normal humans. And also because of this has given all Red Blooded beings a bit of a jump in the Caste system.

Anadol: apparent age 5-7- Tav’s best friend and young Juggalo in training. She really hates baths.

Beleza: Apparent age Mid Twenties – Blue blooded Queen formerly of the Brazilian Hive. She moved to the Mississippi hive once learning about how hard up they were for real Queens and Attendants.

Vierge: Apparent age Late teens possibly early twenties- A little nervous and easily unsettled he still ends up setting out to help rebuild the Delta Egg Hive.  Is also Tav’s teacher in the mental abilities inherent in their caste.

Sirius:  Lusus- Jade blood with Appearance of a Dog. May very possibly have been someone rather powerful and important prior to change. Currently has taken the purple blooded Ana as his ward.

Gleisa: Lusus. Dragon. –Currently been helping a village of humans and the Brazilian Hive Mothergrub, Queens and attendants.-

Susan: -Dead-

Brazil’s Mothergrub: Lusus- Mothergrub. Mental image of a more human like creature with horns and lunar moth wings. Talks and gives advice to Hope, helps Auspice Dolorosa and Hope’s mental space arguments. Also through Hope helps mediate between the other egg hives.

There are a few other people but most are just one time characters, so unless you want me to list EVERYONE… I’ll skip.
