In the late 70s and early 80s there was a crossover in culture and fashions amongst young men in the UK, when skinhead fashion was swapped for the casual look ( after UK police started stopping skinheads from entry into football grounds). These 2 photos capture the crossover period perfectly. The one on the left shows 2 Portsmouth supporters in 81. The one on the right features my ugly skinhead mug and my friend Daz (Liverpool fans) in 1980.
