work's been stopping me from writing the past few days but this is basically the next scene im writing n the concept keeps making me giggle

imagine you saw the last dragon a year before its death when you were young and then decades later on one random day you wake up and the kid you picked up from the gutter a few months ago is holding a creature that should not exist anymore

had to do something mid sentence while writing for my fic and i come back to it a day later and i have no clue where i was going with this??
