Felix's POV

"That day... on that day, I didn't know how to say it, it seemed like... I invited the two Collectors who almost hurt Bendy and Boris at the beginning of their story. But... for some reason, I accepted the Collectors to take my place and work in the office for Dandy when the four of them went out, but also with the help of a fossil girl named Shelly, for the same reason so I could take care of them. Tch... now I'm becoming a babysitter for fools."
"But apparently everything went well, Bendy, Boris, and Cuphead were resting. Which left me a little confused about... him. Who am I talking about? Mugman, he always looked at me silently, I didn't know if he hated me or was just quiet in some way. This made my mind... more confused and agitated. What did he have in those eyes?"
"I always wondered to myself but... never mind. I don't need to worry about that."
Narrator's POV:
"The clouds were forming at night, raindrops falling on metal in soft drops, everything falling around the city. Inside Felix's building, he was talking a lot with Shelly, and there were some papers on the floor, but the desk was so full of papers, the two of them spoke very softly, the office was nice and warm."
Felix's POV

"I explained a lot about my books to Shelly, she was so enthusiastic that sometimes I felt like she was a friend, that made me feel... without that kind of fame-seeking. That's what I felt, but now I wasn't thinking about it. Still focused on her."
Shelly: "I'm glad you accepted my help so that others feel so good, Mr. Felix!" - she said more politely and still enthusiastically, leaning back in her chair, sometimes shifting.
Felix: "Ah, dear Shelly. You didn't need to thank me for helping those four, at least Cuphead is better about it, right?" - I say to Shelly, giving a calm but hoarse laugh, finally finishing the paperwork, phew! I thought I'd rot away to go as a skeleton!
Shelly: "You know... I think I have a little secret in my pockets, but... I'm sometimes too nervous to tell, but... can I? Please!" - she said pleadingly, looking at me with a face that seemed... a good secret? Hm, curious.
Felix: "*curious but getting up from his chair to see her better* Okay... I think you can tell us, the others are sleeping now." - So I agree about this matter, waiting calmly.
Shelly: "*giving an embarrassed giggle* Well... I don't even know how to tell this, but... last night in Garden View, when everyone was going to rest, I saw Cuphead and Mugman talking, and since I was quite curious... I decided to see what it was! When I heard... Mr. Felix, you won't believe it! Mugman said he was in love with you, but I was also caught off guard and quickly ran away! My goodness, how embarrassing!" - she stomps her feet even more out of embarrassment, with that silly smile of hers.
"I then remain completely silent, but... yes, I just now discovered why Mugman's eyes and Shelly's refusal to speak are the reason for her answer. I blush slightly at this, but then wipe away the blush, swallowing hard and looking back at her."
Felix: "Uhm... what wonderful news! Well... uhm... *I look at the clock.* Why don't you rest a little longer? It's late for conversations!" - I finally said, my ears twitching every time and now flushed... I... I was speechless, obviously.
"She notices the time on the clock above and her eyes widen slightly, she gets up quickly and waves to me, not realizing I was blushing too much for her."
Shelly: "Okay, Mr. Felix! But make those delicious pancakes tomorrow! Bye!" - She opens the door and... my eyes widen too. It was Mugman, who was waiting at the door, he seemed impatient from what I could see...
"Shelly leaves the office and now Mugman enters with the door now closed... *gulp...* now I'm really screwed. The silence was awkward and very tense, looking at each other like that. I didn't know if I should speak or not. But then, surprisingly, I hear Mugman's voice."
Mugman: "Aren't you tired? Aren't you going to rest like the others?" - He asked me in a hoarse but somehow slightly soft tone, his arms crossed... Lord Ink's holy... how those muscles made me... more tense, with that serious look... wow... (It should be me, get out of the way, Felix, it's my turn to drool over him!!!😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠 ARRRRGGGHHHHHH)
Felix: "I finished the work but... I don't think I need to, thank you." - Shit... I lied to his face that I wasn't tired, I lightly scratch the back of my neck and notice Mugman's eyes narrowing on me.
Mugman: "Hm... lie, your look is saying something else, Felix. You really need a rest." - he said, He slowly approached me, casting a shadow on the wall.
"Before I could really speak, he grabbed my waist... I blushed even more, my tail bristling, but... it wasn't over yet. He easily lifted me off the ground and placed me against his chest, carrying me as if I were a light weight, like a bird's feather."
Felix: "H-hey! You didn't need to do that! You could have just guided me!" I said, grabbing Mugman's shoulders and lowering my gaze, not wanting to make eye contact.
"Mugman just nodded and started walking towards the door, carefully opening it and leaving with me, looking out the windows, still seeing the rain falling."
"When I was about to complain to him, he gently threw me onto the sofa and then hugged me while lying down, burying his face in my neck... holy shit! I really didn't know how to react! Imagine Mickey showing up and looking at me with such disdain! But then I got even more goosebumps and looked down at him, feeling his muffled, warm breath on my neck."
Mugman: "Don't move around so much... I want to sleep now... but I'm doing this because I want to..." - he whispered softly, but... wow, what a shiver. He stroked my very hairy black chest with his hands.
Felix: "Okay... I... uhm... I understand..." - I just stayed quiet and adjusted myself to get more comfortable with Mugman. My thoughts began to drift, the purring started to appear, my eyes closing.
"The only thing I could think about was... how would I tell him that I was one of the much bigger groups in the company that was Stars? I... I shake my head that I can't think about it, I look at Mugman who was sleeping. I just sigh and lay down on his big chest and close my eyes."
