so, fellow black sails/bs ladies fans, as you are all probably aware, the double standards in the fandom are unfortunately very real, and browsing the tags for some of the women of the show can be quite painful since they’re filled with so much hate.
obviously the most recent case is eleanor, but it has happened before with other females and it will probably happen again.
i’ve suggested creating a positivity tag for the ladies, a place where we could be free to talk about them without having to deal with all the negativity/blatant hatred.
i’ve also thought of creating one specifically for eleanor, since she’s the one needing it the most at the moment. catcmack has suggested #eleanor guthrie defense squad.
so the point of this post and my question is: would you be interested in this and use any of these tags, and do you have any other ideas for which tags to use? particularly one for all the women?
