Mattie puffed up his cheek. He walked over to Kuro, grabbing his sleeve and tugging on it hard enough to actually hear a bit of fabric ripping. “KUUUURRROOOOOO!”

Fang blinked but did as he was told and sat down, his tail wagging still. “Want me to roll over next Partner~”

Mattie tilted his head before picking up the Katana that almost practically as big as him. He grinned suddenly. “Awesome! I got a sword!”

Fangs hands went up in immediate defense as he backed up slightly. “C-Come now ba-” He caught himself before he could even utter the joke of a nickname. He might actually end up with his head cut off. Not that it would kill him but it would be a real pain in the ass to have to deal with.
“I-I don’t mean... I have never done something like that! I-I swear! I-I was just trying to piss him off is all... I-It was harmless!”
He swallowed thickly as he looked to the drawn sword before up at Kuro himself.”I-I promise I won’t say anything like that ever again!” He watched the other with pleading but terrified eyes.

“Aw~ Come now~ Don’t play hard to get~” Fang smirked playfully knowing very well the other shadow wasn’t actually upset. He decided to drop the nickname for now though as pushing his buttons was going to get him the opposite reaction he wanted.
