––––––––––––IT’S EASY TO get lost in big parties, especially when the point of the big parties was to make sure you met nearly as many people as you could. navid much rather preferred to have only spent a bit of time here schmoozing those he had and then duck away to a party he’d actually enjoy. nevertheless, industry parties were always like this, but he knew, if he waited long enough to vps and his a&r would leave, and then the real party would start. that didn’t mean he didn’t have a smile on his face and drink in hand. a bit more natural when he sees his friend and someone he didn’t recognize by her side.      ‘ sophie ! ’        smile on his lips as he pulls her in for a hug, offering the other girl a wide smile.       ‘ ‘s been a while. who’s this ? ’

     it was the perfect gig, really, he couldn’t see how it could get any better. selling dime bags and single pills to college students for near double the price he typically pushed at clubs or to his off-campus buyers. it was easy money, fast money. what with finals, exams, peer pressure, parties. high expectations from parents? he knew the patterns, the ebb and flow of the ups and downs, namely because he was enduring it all, too. this week it was uppers, save for the usual market for marijuana, that was steady. sebastien had just slipped his last little baggy to some kid from his psych class, dapping him up a little before continuing to mosey his easy around the large quad area, adorned with a gaudy fountain at the center. lines of bushes and other shrubbery, newly blossoming flowers, and some beds of grass all intermingled with woven cement paths to guide travelers from building to building. the brunet sighed, making his way to the edge of the water, plopping down onto the half-wall surrounding the small circumferential pool. eyes scanned the bodies in the courtyard, quite a few, though he figured it was lunch time. when he reached his right shoulder he noticed the blonde seated down a couple yards from him, head quirking slightly as he observed her. rising to his feet, he moved down a few steps and sat down a little closer to the femme. “correct me if i’m wrong, but weren’t you in the winter showcase?” | @cathcrtiic​

eli was having a great time at this party, he was very drunk, his world was spinning but he didn’t care. he’d sneaked off with the other to a bathroom, he placed them on the counter, with a grin on his lips, “okay, okay, you just stay there” the young man giggles a little. eli pulls out a pen from his pocket, “look i’ve got this...let me draw somethin’ on you”.

once he received the call, he practically dropped everything in order to head over to her house and give her a ride. that had pretty much became his life now was ensuring she was taken care of. he’d never admit that to her but his actions showed it enough if she was paying attention. after arriving outside of her place, he reached for his phone and gave her a ring to let her known he was waiting downstairs. “hey i’m here. take your time or whatever.”

being booked for glasto two years in a row was definitely something that noah was proud of. while he was probably having the best year career wise, his personal life had gone to shit. he wasn’t going to blame the sort of breakup, but in all honesty, it did play a big part. he was once again reminded that relationships weren’t for him and his career. so that was why besides work, dove into partying. and with partying came the use of drugs. a lot of it. just like today. sunglasses on his nose, noah headed over to his trailer. he was on.. something, and he was dizzy and it wasn’t long until he had fallen flat on his face right before wanting to climb the little steps up to his trailer.

HE’D SPENT DAYS GETTING prepared for this moment, gotten a pep talk from auggie and even gone as far as to pick out an outfit that made him feel more confident. he’d spent so much time getting everything in order he’d practiced a giant romantic speech only to find her there locking lips with someone else. though it felt like someone was trying to rip his heart right out of his chest he did his best to hide those feelings instead putting on a half hearted smile. be happy for them he told himself.
