out of my spop muses, glimmer’s definitely the one who cusses the most. entrapta the least, if ever, as she tends to be quite literal & slang doesn’t come naturally to her. catra’s more of a ‘when she’s REALLY frustrated / having an argument’. glimmer, on the other hand? if she so much as brushes her elbow or hip a little too hard turning a corner, you will hear ‘MOTHERFUCKER’ echoing down the castle halls.
“ you know what? forget i offered to help you. forget the entire fucking idea. “ -- catra
As usual, Catra’s help always came with a cost. The cost in question tended to be Adora’s patience, because every single time things are going great, one thing happens to set it all back. Adora just wanted her to help her create a better obstacle course to work out on and even that couldn’t go right. Adora didn’t know why she still asked...well, she knew, but she didn’t like it. “Fine.....be a quitter,” Adora said, dragging out the last bit. “I didn’t think you were the type to not finish a project, but I guess you changed more than i thought.” @catrahourde
Success never went unrewarded in the Horde. This plan had gone so smoothly that even Catra had been pleasantly surprised. Aided by Double Trouble in disguise, they lead a small team of the Princess Alliance astray into the Whispering Woods, and right into a trap. Flutterina, Glimmer, and Mermista had all been captured and were now being transported to the Fright Zone aboard a carrier vessel, its treads tearing apart the verdant ground as it lurched forward. There would be time to gloat later. . .
For now, she needed to try and get information from the prisoners. Swift strides carried her across the metal vessel and towards the brig. Each chamber was sealed by force fields which required codes to enter them. Quick clawed fingers accurately pressed the keypad, bringing the seal down momentarily for entry. Once both her feet crossed the threshold of the chamber the field rose up again with a noisy whir.
❝ Hello, Princess. . . ❞ Catra greeted. Her humble facade as transparent as glass.

things with catra were.....weird. adora didn’t know where they stood, but she knew they weren’t bffs or anything like that. she knew that sometimes she could get catra to chuckle, but most times she just got her glare. she knew that she ran into her all the time without trying, but she didn’t think catra was stalking her. and even if she was, adora would not have cared in the slightest. she wasn’t going anywhere and while she only sort of knew what catra’s mission was,she knew her answer would never change. corona was her home, the one place she felt she could just let her hair down and act silly at. the one place that didn’t judge or critique her. and she hoped corona was that kind of place for catra too. she wanted catra to have a good life here, even if it wasn’t with adora. and while the thought of that hurt her beyond compare, she kept moving forward.
adora had gotten into the habit of practicing her kicks on trees rather than training dummies. she felt training dummies were just not the right kind of hard and as much as she wanted to pretend she didn’t feel like she had to practice self-defense like ms weaver was going to appear any second, she did. and normally she was alone but somehow, out of all the trees in the forest she picked, she picked one that catra decided to run by. “catra?” adora called out suddenly at the running girl, her leg still connected with the tree from her previous kick. “catra? what are you doing?”

Claws quietly clicking against the marble floor, Catra found herself once again aimlessly roaming the halls of early morning Bright Moon. Curiously investigating every nook and corner of her new domicile was simply an old feral habit of hers. Adora and Catra had done it during their time in the Fright Zone. Sneaking out to steal food and find secret places to hide was one of their favorite pastimes. Coming to a halt, Catra stood before a large mural. Ornate etchings in the surface created this massively detailed artwork. Running her fingers delicately along the edges, she felt every rivet. Each morning she would pass by this specific one, which depicted a tall angelic being with arms outstretched over Bright Moon. She wondered what it represented. . . Right ear wiggling in response to an echo down the hallway, Catra instinctively jumped away from the mural, directing her attention to whoever emitted the noise. It was Queen Glimmer, in all her glittering, eye - piercingly colorful glory. Catra’s tail nervously twitched in response to minor anxiety. Offering an awkward bow, she attempts to acknowledge the Royalty standing before her politely. Adora had been going over her ‘ Proper Princess Etiquette Technique ’ yesterday, which she may have taken a little too seriously. . .
