One of them has taken many forms throughout time. The other has been reborn so many times that she has lost count. She would still recognize them, anywhere, at any moment in time. She is all-knowing and all-loving.

Give them more time, Lady Death whispers into the stars. They listen. She wills the Universe into compliance. Give them time.

Her husband and his old friend are not the only ones with her favor. There's a Totem of Undying who was once her Totem of Death, there's a white-eyed mortal who once poured her a drink, lifetimes ago, made her laugh. They both have come close to her domain far too many times.

Lady Death watches over them.
