requests are open
hi everyone!
i've finally cleared out my ask box after two years, with the last three requests ready to post through the queue over the next few days.
please feel free to send in requests! i'll close the ask box when i feel like i've gotten enough to keep me going for a while. please keep in mind the rules although i'm pretty lenient so feel free to send me a msg if you have a question or anything. i love prompt requests, so if you have any in mind, paste a link in your request if you can! here are some prompt lists i've reblogged in the past if you'd like to choose one from there.
i won't promise a turn around time for any of the requests, but know that i'll work hard on getting them out as soon as i can!
can't wait to see what you guys send in. 🤍
Hey friends! It’s that nearly time of year again! I’m starting early to get a head start, and get organized! Here’s how it works:
Come into my inbox, and request Trick or Treat, plus a ship, or character(s). Using a random number generator - where 1 is Trick and 2 is Treat - I will either write you something dark and twisted, or sweet and fluffy.
Inbox is open for prompts!
You can find my previous Tricks and Treats here:
2018 - 2019 - 2020 - 2021
Have fun, friends!
Last book I...
Tagged by @brightbeautifulthings Thank you! <3
Bought: Second First Impressions - Sally Thorne
Borrowed: A Bone to Pick - Charlaine Harris from my local library
Was gifted: Uh... I honestly don’t remember. I feel like it may have been true crime related
Gave to someone else: The Girls of Murder City: Fame, Lust, and the Beautiful Killers Who Inspired Chicago - Douglas Perry
Started: Capturing the Devil - Kerri Maniscalco - then a major reading slump set in.
Finished: Second First Impressions - Sally Thorne.
Gave 5 stars: The Paper Magician - Charlie N. Holmberg
Gave 2 stars: Gap Year in Ghost Town - Michael Pryor
Didn’t finish: I don’t often DNF books, so I honestly can’t remember. I feel like it was maybe something by Agatha Christie? But that was more me shelving it for another time.
Tagging: @northernbookworm @therefugeofbooks @ninja-muse and anyone else who feels like participating!
9, 14, and 18 for the book asks please?
Come ask me bookish things!
Hi friend! 🙌
9 - Favourite Book Cover
My favourite book cover is the UK version of The Night Circus. My friend sent it to me as a special gift a few years ago, and I treasure it dearly! <3
14 - Favourite children's book author
If I had to choose one, maybe R.L Stine? I don't remember there being a lot of French options for children's books at my library back in my hometown. (middle of nowhere North Eastern Ontario is, uh, isolated and desolate. Good times.)
18 - Last book you read
The last book I read was Home: A Memoir of My Early Years by Julie Andrews. It was truly eye-opening and fascinating! I'm not usually a memoir kinda gal, but it was part of a reading challenge I found on Pinterest. I'm glad I gave it a go! I plan on reading her follow up, Home Work, which goes into detail about her Hollywood years!
I've never heard of tsurune before but uh, they're cute
They really are!
I have to admit though that it took me a while to finish it, like I dropped it for a good month and then binged the rest in a day or so. It’s a very slow moving? show, but it’s really good nonetheless. You should give it a watch!
have you watched Prince of Stride?
I haven’t actually! I remember wanting to add it to my to-watch list, but to be honest, I have about 50 anime on there already lmaopleasehelpme.
But is it good? Should I make it a point to watch it? 🙇🏽♀️
K so your girl is about to have a mental breakdown 🤪 but!! I’ve finally updated the masterpost. If you happen to use it, please let me know if anything looks weird, links to the wrong post, and/or if I’m missing something.
I’m kinda hopped up on cold medicine so I wouldn’t be surprised if I screwed things up 🤤
Hope you a good night/day,
- catt 🎀
