Hello! I hope you don't mind me asking, but what tools/method do you use to carve your foam? I've been using upholstery foam for costuming for years and I've never been able to get it that uniform!

i have this electric meat(?) cutting knife that i use carefully upright against the foam so that i minimize angles when cutting the initial pattern pieces which is increasingly harder the thicker foam i have, then i go n cut at it with some new scissors from the fabric store but any sharp ones will do. 

razors also cut like butter and so well getting equal clean cuts on thin pieces. it starts to get harder to make even cuts when u have to pass the razor thru the foam more than once bc of thickness

ALSO TIP, GET A SPRAYBOTTLE FULL OF WATER N WHEN U GO N CLEAN UP UR STATIC CLINGY HELL PILE OF FOAM TRIMMINGS, SPRAY IT AND ITL MAKE IT SO MUCH EASIER TO SCOOP
