The Kanye subreddit is gold right now
I'm not involved in the Miraculous ladybug fandom at all; haven't watched a single episode beyond season 1 when it was still new. I took a peek into the drama cause EVERYBODY on YouTube is dragging this show to hell and back.
The one thing that stood out to me was Chloe and the legion of fans who bend over backwards to defend her. People think being spoiled as a child is an excuse to be a complete bitch? That's how I know a lot of y'all are overprivileged. Affluenza is a bullshit psychosis rich white people made up to feel like victims. Her generic " Mommy and Daddy don't love me enough" sob story is hardly anything noteworthy.
" But she's only a teen!" I literally couldn't care less. Everybody is responsible for their own actions and Chloe is long overdue for several punishments. People are trying to throw shade at the creator just cause he thinks Chloe is irredeemable and I'm baffled. Abusers are not obligated to be forgiven. Not every bully deserves a reception arc. Chloe is a vile girl that doesn't deserve to see the light of day.
I don't even watch this dumbass show and I'm already annoyed. It boggles the mind how this crap is somehow getting a movie and several planned seasons.
work chronicles // the micro-agression bible: While I seat a white family their toddler, being held by the mother, points at me and repeats “black eyes”, and after an uncomfortable laugh from the parents they try to convince her they’re more brown (may not be a conscious aggression but there’s something undeniably creepy about a little white girl chanting “black eyes” at you). My white co-worker, a new guy, since seeing me smoke a blunt on my break and being very entertained by my reply of “you know what it is” has started talking in a “blacker” accent to flirt with me, peppering in “you know what it is”, while trying to act cool and nonchalant.
