Ingredients: 1 lb ground chicken. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup diced red onion. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/4 cup chopped cilantro. 1 tsp cumin powder. 1 tsp paprika. 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 burger buns. Lettuce leaves. Sliced tomatoes. Sliced red onion. Sliced jalapeos. Sliced pepper jack cheese. Mayonnaise. Hot sauce.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, diced red onion, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, cumin powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and lightly oil it. Cook the chicken patties for about 5-6 minutes per side or until they are fully cooked and have nice grill marks. Add a slice of pepper jack cheese to each patty during the last minute of cooking. Toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute or until they are lightly browned. Assemble the burgers: Spread mayonnaise and hot sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a lettuce leaf on top, followed by the chicken patty with cheese, sliced tomatoes, red onion, and jalapeos. Top with the other half of the bun, and your Spicy Chicken Burger is ready to serve!
