“Um... what the hell are you talking about?”
“You can hype this up as much as you want, I’m still not doing it.” Marie commented, combing her fingers through her hair. “I’ve just had my hair and nails done and I’m not going going to be messing them up anytime soon.”
“What even is this?” Darcy squinted, picking up the object that had seen some wear and tear. She ran a finger over one of the dents before cringing at the thought of the item’s origin, “Where did you say you found this again?”
“I don’t care how cute your pet is, this isn’t going to be a story I’m reporting.” Elena argued with the other, rubbing the bridge of her nose as they droned on. “Look, I said no, I mean no, now either drop it or leave me alone.”
“You caught me– I’m sitting because my feet are aching. But I will not leave my house without wearing heels on my feet and I’m willing to suffer the consequences,” Ginny admitted with a shrug. “I’m still having a great time. Currently I’m busy silently judging the outfits of the people passing by. You’re welcome to sit with me if you’d like.”
“Are you sure you wanna do this?” Pietro asked, raising his brow in a challenging manner, “I’m really good at this.”
“I’m going to be one of those people who are still working when they’re eighty, aren’t I?” Judy commented, leg bouncing under the table as she watched someone park in a non-permitted area outside the coffee shop she was sitting in. It was her day off and yet she couldn’t switch off her cop brain. “Granted, it might not be as an officer and more of a neighbourhood watch programme, but it’s still crime based.”
“Yes, yes, that’s very impressive,” Arabella said, nodding and then glancing toward the door, “Please tell me more.”
