Can anything really be salvaged though? I can’t imagine the capacitors aren’t dried out after being left in such conditions for so long
Vintage computer enthusiasts are capable of restoring machines in a variety of states. Bad capacitors can be replaced, after all. I wouldn’t be surprised if at least one of those 8032′s was successfully restored.
The part I’m most interested in is the content of those magnetic tapes. The Vintage Computer Federation will be handling the recovery process for those.
