Can you share how Freddy and Foxy got together?

I completely forgot to answer this one. Sorry Anon.

It’s under a read more for two drawings and some rambles!

For these two, it wasn’t anything automatic like maybe this.

In my AU, these two just sort of happened to bond over the love of the show. Sure, Bonnie and Chica (as well as Goldie) gives their all, but no one really understood just how important each show was for Freddy. Not until Foxy happened to swing into the picture.

The fox was more than happy to step up his game - to push his limits and make every single day a unique show. He and Freddy would spend hours upon hours planning out shows in advance - which also gave Foxy plenty of opportunities to just shatter some of those plans with his improvised acts.

When it finally hit Freddy, it was in the middle of one of their shows. He was just so drawn to this pirate, admiring how he took the spotlight. There was just something in that particular show that finally made it all click for this bear.

ok but like what kind of power does freddy's hat have so it can fly and do other bears hats do the same ?

Well my friend, there's a very good reason why Freddy's top hat floats. I'll place it under a read more since this is kinda lengthy, but the tldr version is that it looks odd when I draw it on his head.

Here we have Freddy and Goldie, their floating hats a trademark of Fazbear entertainment.

However, when I lower the hats and place them on their heads...

It looks so odd to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So that's the actual reason here. As for in universe? I like to think that it has to do with magnets on the bots, and that only a Fazbear can have a floating hat. This includes Goldie, Toy Freddy, Nightmare, Fredbear, Lefty, Funtime Freddy, and Glamrock Freddy. Like, it's a part of how they're designed and other bots won't have this same trick should they wear the top hat.

For example, let's put one on Toy Bonnie

It looks odd, but hey! It sits on his head. I imagine that this bun won't have the magnet in place for the floating trick to work. Now, I know someone may point out - "Hey, wait a minute! The hat floats on Foxy's head! He's not a Fazbear."

And that is correct. I imagine the original crew has their exceptions, only since it would make a fun act for Foxy to steal Freddy's hat and have the kids help take it back.

Or you can just say Freddy married the pirate - technically making him a Fazbear. /j

Answering a question under a read more!

I personally like giving Bonnie longer hair since I head canon this bunny to be gender fluid. It gives them a wide range of hair styles, though I haven't found one particular hair that I enjoy for them.

I did find this one, which I originally took some inspiration from 😄

I just thought adding some beads and maybe some rabbit charms for Bonnie's hair would be fitting too.

I think it's beautiful - though I still need a lot of practice with drawing various hair styles.

I mean, look at all of the possibilities! They'd be so much fun to try on Bonnie and to keep trying to find new styles.

Overall, I want my Bonnie to be able to have the option of dressing masculine or feminine. I remember it used to be a very common head canon back in 2014-2016. I'm now curious if that's changed.

I think I need to practice drawing Bonnie more in general too, just so I can have more masculine looks for them as well.
