Outlaws of Thunder Junction Side Story Review
No Tells: I knew there had to be some indigenous species, and cactus people certainly count. Also, narrator dude, you ran away before the first sign of danger, that makes you a coward. There are ways of leaving without disappearing with money.
On the bright side, this story confirms it's been more than a year since the Phyrexian Invasion. That doesn't really explain how all the infrastructure of Thunder Junction got built, but I guess having magic makes building trains easier.
Blood Is Thicker Than Venom: Ms. Annie Flash, you couldn't even kill a couple rattlewurms without feeling guilty. You are NOT an outlaw. Glad to see your nephew is doing well; I was worried we were gonna have a morphine addiction subplot going there for a second. Also, I hope we get to meet your people someday.
A Long Way From Home: Nashi is the best boy. He's trying his best and we love him for that. The revelation that story magic is basically watching someone do something, then doing that yourself is kinda hilarious. I hope we see more of Nashi (and Obeka) in the future.
