⚡️🖤 ✌🏼🌺 Cecile Sophie Narlock. My dear mother. She passed away 7 years ago this month. Our relationship was unfortunately insanely hard to describe. My brothers and I were removed from her loving arms when I was like 3. Then back into each other’s lives sporadically over the years including a short stint under the same roof for a few high school years. It was a true after school special movie that plays on repeat in my mind. (there was also a real after school special movie made in the 80’s based on a different family member for other insane reasons). Life has been deeply surreal since then. I know I’m not the only one. I know I’m not alone. I only have a few of photos of her and some of her treasured original Neil Diamond and Elvis records and a crucifix with her name on it that she had made for us at her funeral. I keep most of my relationship with her closely guarded in my heart. There are days, like today, that are extremely fn difficult. I do know I get a lot of my crazy traits from her. But what I do know is that she was a good mother when we were together. She cared and loved my brothers and I in her own way. I do miss her every day. I still have her phone # in my contacts. With that - appreciate what you have cause you just don’t know....especially in this crazy new world! I don’t have the answers. I just gotta keep on movin’ forward carrying her in my heart. Much love peace & survival! ⚡️🖤 ✌🏼🌺 Cecile Sophie Narlock.
