Boredom Kills [HYUKJAE DRABBLE] M.B.M
So I went on a vacation (because it was holy week where I live) and there wasn’t much wifi. I wrote this while I was having a hard time to sleep (because I had to have a pillow to hug to go to sleep, without it, it makes it hard for me to sleep) so it could be shit it could be gold. I didn’t proofread it lmao sorry. Enjoy !
She laid in bed, staring at the ceiling as she couldn’t find anything interesting to do. Her phone lacked fun she needed. She didn’t feel like going out and treat herself to a nice latte with bags of clothes and accessories. She was sick. Not a fever but she had a stuffed nose. She acted like she was in pain though, complaining every ten minutes that she could hardly breathe. In the room next to hers was Hyukjae typing away on the computer, finishing a file on Microsoft Excel to be sent to his group’s manager on sales. He didn’t have a lot of projects like his other members, he took a leave for a while but decided that maybe he could earn a little more money for Teacher Soo Man by helping the manager Microsoft-Excel-wise. She wanted to go visit him, maybe give him a “You’re doing well,” hug but she knew he was busy. She was determined to do something so she stood up and thought that she should make some warm tea. She twisted the door knob and opened the door, walking outside her room and closing the door behind her. She drags her bare feet into the kitchen, where there was already a kettle settled atop of a burner. She picked the kettle up and filled it with tap water and returned it onto its respective burner to start heating up some water for tea. She dragged her feet again to the pantry to look for some tea she might catch interest in. She saw a variety of flavors; from lemon to berry mix. She picked lemon as it was a simple and fan favorite. She took out the small packet and dropped it into a mug. She sat on the counter patiently waiting for the water to boil. A loud, high-pitched squeal of the boiling water’s steam told her that it was time for her to pour the water into the mug. She took a small, round rug to hold onto the handle of the kettle and poured the water in, coloring the water. “Why’d you make some tea? I thought you weren’t really into tea?” A familiar voice caused her to get excited. “He’s finally off the computer!” She thought. “Well,” She said, returning the kettle onto a burner. “I think it would take my mind off of my stuffy nose by drinking some. It’s just mildly flavored water, isn’t it?” She turns around and leans against the counter. “You’re right but,” He pouts. “I thought I was the antidote for whenever you’re sick or something.”
“You were busy typing away on the computer. I didn’t think it was smart to interrupt you on your work.” She sips her tea. He yawns, stretching his arms but immediately regretting it as shown by his crooked face. “What’s wrong, baby?” She asked. “I guess I’ve been at the screen for too long. My arms hurt.” She didn’t feel the two corners of her mouth lift up. This was her chance. Finally, spending time with the man she loves spending time with. “Wanna stay in the bedroom watching disney movies with tea?” She suggests. “That sounds amazing. I’ll make my own tea, bring yours upstairs, princess.” The thought of him calling her princess made her smile like a twelve-year-old finding out her crush likes her back. She would finally spend quality time with him. She went upstairs to the bedroom. Taking a sip of her tea, she sets it down on a nightstand. She sets up netflix on their television, setting it to “Ratatouille”, her favorite movie. She gets nice and snug as a bug in a rug. Like it was planned, Hyukjae enters the room with his tea and some ice cream. “Aren’t I not supposed to eat ice cream? My stuffy nose can evolve to a coughing chest.” She asks. “I love yoi, accept my gesture of love.” She giggles. “Fine, dork.” He looks up at the television, face scrunched. “I thought you said disney?”
“I thought watching “Ratatouille”,” She said opening the cover for the ice cream. “would be better than any disney movie. It’s a really good movie.”
“Aside from the fact that there was a scene of a man and a woman literally at gunpoint and then making out.” He adds. “Pixar wanted some action in the movie, I guess.” She heard the intro to the movie start and saw that he had the remote in his hands. “I haven’t even opened the bucket yet and you start the movie?” He took the bucket from her and opened it swiftly. “Seriously, you have magic powers.”
“Magic boyfriend powers.”
The both of them leaned against each other, each taking a scoop of ice cream and watched the movie, enjoying each other’s company in peace.
