Feeling the tiniest bit melodramatic on my NDE anniversary

I've had brushes with Death countless times

But 13 years ago it was different

And it no longer horrifies me with its mystery

My corporeal form might be worn and stretched ragged but I am here

I still don't understand what colour my eyes are

It constantly changes with the light

Also I know no one gives a shit but just throwing it out there again

I'm nonbinary

I present more "feminine" but that means nothing really, it's just a way of protecting my energy

My pronouns are they/them

No one cares but it hurts my soul every time I'm misgendered
