Gray tiredly walked towards his hotel room door as he heard a couple of knocks coming from the other side.As he stood at the door he placed his hand on the door knob then opened it to see that it was Lucy on the other side.”Lucy?”he asked tiredly wondering why she had come to his room for.”Is everything alright?”The ice mage asked not realising she had come to check up on him because she must have heard from Erza that he hasn’t been sleeping well the past few nights.

Gray turned to look at Lucy when he heard her ask him not to leave.He was setting out on a training journey and had already said his farewells to everyone else at the guild.He couldn’t understand on why the celestial mage was making a big deal out of it he planned to return once he learned how to control his devil slaying powers more properly.”Lucy…I plan on coming back once my training is complete.”he said showing a smile.
But deep down the ice mage understood on why she didn’t want him to leave,since Natsu had also set out to train alone with Happy and left her behind.

Gray turned to look at Lucy when he heard her ask why his hands were bruised.”Well…”he paused.”I was trying to get intel on that bandit that we are suppose to be searching for and well…let’s just say I tracked down one of his minions and they wouldn’t cooperate so I didn’t have a choose but to beat the intel out of him…”the ice mage finished with a sigh escaping.
The ice mage refused to tell the celsetial mage how bad his knuckles were hurting at the moment so without saying anything further about the situation he forced a smile ready to tell her he found the leaders location.”We should hurry if we want to get to the leader before he clues in we’re coming for him.”
“I can’t stand how they’re looking at you.”
Gray slowly drifted his eyes towards Lucy when heard her words,he was a little suprised because he never expected the celestial mage to be the jealous type.”Well…I guess if you want we can go sit somewhere’s else.”he offered showing a light smile almost liking how protective the celestial mage is being around him.
"I'll take care of you."
Gray turned to look at Lucy with a surprised expression appearing on his face when he heard the celestial mage tell him that she was going to look after him.”A-Are you…sure Lucy I don’t want to slow you down if you rather take that mission with Natsu and the others?”he asked with his eyebrows lowering.”I should be able to take care of-“the ice mage tried to say but the ice mage was interupted when a loud cough escaped instead.He quickly covered his mouth and turned away from Lucy so he wouldn’t be able to cough on her and get her sick as well.
After a few moments the coughing stopped Gray faced Lucy once again sounding a little out of breath.”Sorry…about that…”he apologized to her with a weak smile appearing.

Gray and the rest of team Natsu had taken a job to bring down a powerful dark guild and thought that a five man team would be plenty enough but the strongst team of fairy tail had no idea that the guild was waiting for their arrivial and attacked with full force.As the ice mage faught he had no idea that one was ready to suprise attack him from behind that was until he could hear Lucy approach from behind taking out the villain before he had a chance to attack the ice mage.”Thanks Lucy.”he said showing a quick smile taking a few steps backwards with his back against hers as an angry group surrounded the two for revenge on taking down some of their guys.

“Don’t look now...but we are being followed.”Gray whispered to the celestial wizard as they walked down a dark but busy street.The ice mage noticed that the strangely cloaked figure had been following them for a good while but never said anything to Lucy until now because he didn’t want to worry her incase if they just randomly had been taking the same route as them.
But now Gray knew they were trailing them,but for what reason would they be following them for is what the ice mage couldn’t understand.
