I wish people would be more empathetic towards others' plights and concerns, then maybe the world would be a better place because people would act on the strength of their feelings.

Ahaha, I'll have to think about that for a sec. Honestly, I'd probably just call up the people who ran the lottery and say 'Hey, I won the jackpot!' and just never have to worry about money again, haha. Not very much of a trouble-maker over here, and I wouldn't waste that chance on getting petty revenge. :')

I'm deeply scared of critical illness. I wouldn't know what to do if I had a diagnosis of something incurable...

Vampire, Ghost

Vampire:Someone offers you a chance at immortality. Do you take it, and why or why not?

Ooh, that's a toughie. I think I probably would take it at this point in my life, I've always wanted to go and explore the far corners of the earth and maybe experience something so far out and futuristic sounding like first contact with aliens or something. Buuut if I had somebody I loved in my life or any real responsibilities like kids, I wouldn't. I would be far too scared to inevitably experiencing losing them.

Ghost:Do you have any regrets?

Only one. But it's not so much of a real regret as much as a 'I wonder what would have happened if I told them how I felt?' but I kinda figured how they'd respond anyway. :p

Hey! Don't you think that you might have mixed up Dorian's and Vivien's cards? Look at The High Priestess: she's veiled, her veil is a big part of the card, actually, and she's holding a half-covered book. That's what Dorian does. While The Magician is shown with a goblet and a rod/wand, just like Vivien. So... what do you think? I thinks symbols are more important than genders. Dorian kinda looks like The Hierophant, too, though...

This got really long because it’s actually a very interesting thing that you pointed out, so here’s my two cents, probably closer to twenty cents considering how long my answer got, haha. I didn’t make my decisions based on the character’s gender. I tried to match what we knew of the character so far and the potentially corresponding Tarot card. I used some of the basic symbols (the stark contrast between black and white in Vivienne’s card and the infinity symbol present in Dorian’s) as a base for the potential card and then applied them to the character’s role in the Inquisition. 

Dorian seems have the passion and charm that the Magician represents, while Vivienne has the calm, collected, overall more knowledgeable attitude that the High Priestess represents. As she said, she is ‘never truly out of her element’, very much like the High Priestess balances and controls the contrast between the concious and subconscious, the black and the white. There is a veiled figure in the background in Viv’s card, something which is closely linked to the subconscious mind and the inner voice, a massive part of the High Priestess’ meaning. As well as there being a book in both the Magician card and the High Priestess card.

Symbols like the chalice generally represent an aspect of the card (in this case, the subconscious mind) and don’t always appear in the cards they are originally associated with. These cards seem to take a lot of inspiration from the Rider-Waite deck - Cassandra’s card being almost identical to the Death card, for example - but like you said, Dorian’s card is also very similar to the Hierophant, it’s very much like they took elements from several cards and compiled them, just like in the decks that take inspiration from the Rider-Waite cards. I wrote an explanation about Dorian’s similarity to the Hierophant earlier, so I’ll just paste an extract.

The Magician is an active card, while the Hierophant is a passive card. The Magician is the son and the Hierophant is the father. In essence, they are both using their strong will to either create or maintain positive change. The Hierophant is sort of like the eventual development and realization that the Magician will come to after they have made the world they so strongly desired.

I can see Dorian using his power to achieve his goals (the Magician) and then using it to uphold the status quo he worked so hard to create (The Hierophant). In all likeliness, the presence of the symbols of both the Major Arcana cards in Dorian’s card is related to his story arc, he will start the story as the Magician and end it as the Hierophant.

Also remember that symbols are purely that, symbols. They don’t always have to appear in cards where the meaning of the symbol isn’t the focus, readers will sometimes skip over meanings if they know they don;t apply to the reading There is an interesting fact about the Strength and Justice cards, they are sometimes interchangeable, and one is given the name and symbols of the other. Each deck of cards is different, including these cards, there are always references and overlapping symbols, but it’s difficult to take away their basic meaning.

I see Vivienne as the High Priestess and Dorian as the Magician, at least until they develop into the referenced card, Vivienne may develop into a Magician because of her channelling her knowledge and passion into something that she pursues. 

As for Sera, I also wrote about that earlier, pasty-pasty!

Generally, in ‘object’ cards, like the Tower, the Moon, the Chariot and of course, the Sun, the object will appear, if not, a suggestion of it. The Chariot doesn’t need to always have a horse and carriage in it, but it needs to imply fast movement, whether that’s mental or physical. There isn’t a sun present in Sera’s card, but there is a huge tower. Not that the presence of the symbol itself was what made me make up my mind, but it’s a good base to work from.

In the Sun card, all appears to be well. It often has images of happy children playing, parties and festivals, loving couples, it is a very happy and relaxed card. If Sera was the sun, she wouldn’t appear so focused on her goal, she also would not face away, since that implies either a centred or perhaps unhappy person. If you squint, you can see a tiny blue figure in the window of the tower, considering the fact that Sera is seemingly looking at them with a weapon in hand, all does not appear to be well.

Keep in mind that the Tower isn’t always a sad card, like the Devil (Iron Bull) isn’t always evil. The Tower represents dramatic change, that change can be good and Sera is obviously a force of change, she is the Wildcard! When it’s applied to a person, the Tower is about channelling energy properly to fix or prevent bad events, while also perhaps causing them in pursuit of a goal. When applied to a general event, it is more like you are the victim instead of the benefactor of the upheaval and chaos. Sera is either creating or preventing chaos instead of letting it take her. Sera is in her very nature, deeply chaotic to those around her. Chaos can have knock on effects to that which it is not focused on, sometimes very good, sometimes very bad.

I've stayed home from class all week because I can't focus on anything and I get dizzy and short of breath when I move around too much. I feel sick, but I don't even know if I really am or if I'm just faking it somehow. I feel like I'm lying to everyone who cares about me.

First of all, it's okay. If you feel bad, that's all you need to know. You wouldn't be experiencing these symptoms or reactions unless something was wrong, even if you're worsening your feelings by over-thinking them or worrying about them, they are real to you and you are not lying to the people who care about you. If you feel ill or don't feel able to focus, it is perfectly reasonable to have a break from your classes and take some time to yourself, life can be very stressful and overwhelming sometimes and everyone will know how you feel.

Make sure to drink lots of water and eat plenty of nutritious foods, because if you get stressed enough to forget, you'll worsen your symptoms. I'd also suggest going outside to get some fresh air or go for a 5-10 minute walk each day, if you are well or able-bodied enough to do so. It is a good idea to try meditation, sit in a quiet room (or put headphones on) and close your eyes. Inhale slowly for 7 seconds, hold your breath for 5 seconds, then exhale slowly for 6 seconds. Focus on your breath and your heartbeats, nothing else. Repeat this for around 8 minutes, once when you wake up and again before you go to sleep. You can also try keeping a diary, you could write about everything that worries you, or everything that makes you happy. It's best not to put both of those things in the same diary because you might focus on the stressful things instead of the happy things.

If you feel strong enough, don't be afraid to tell the people you care about how you feel. They are there for you. And if you ever want to talk to me again, you are welcome to. <3

do you think the race and gender selection screens they've released are also part of the tarot?

I think they may be! They’re not related to the Major Arcana, but I feel like they’re a part of the Court Cards. There are four suites and four ranks.

Chalices, Staves, Swords and Pentacles.

And Pages, Knights, Queens and Kings.

The cards are most likely Kings and Queens (according to gender) and there is probably a different suite for each race.

Swords for Qunari, Staves for Elves, Pentacles for Dwarves and Chalices for Humans.

So a female Dwarf would potentially be the Queen of Pentacles.
