Hailing from Brazil, BTK has worked for an impressive list of heavyweight labels such as Virus Recordings, Shogun Audio, Playaz Recordings, V Records and Renegade Hardware. Already setting a firm foundation with these labels and many others, BTK’s tracks regularly receive support from some of the biggest DJ’s in the scene such as Ed Rush & Optical, Andy C, Friction, DJ Hype, Audio and many more.

His debut album on Virus Recordings (produced together with Optiv) stormed the charts in summer 2012 to heave him up to the producers A-list. BTK also has his own imprint called “Dutty Audio”, which he founded at the end of 2010. The label acts as an outlet for BTK's own music and collaborations, as well as becoming a home for some renowned guest artists. Dutty Audio’s mission is to produce quality tracks release after release.

Aside from his colossal and diverse production credentials, his talent as a DJ has helped him gain a solid reputation worldwide. Having sold out venues across Europe, Australia, South America and beyond with his highly successful tours, you will already know that there is far more to come from this talented artist.

An accomplished producer and DJ with an impressive back-catalogue and touring history, Skitty never strays away from his vision of how to execute proper jungle drum & bass. Originally based in Birmingham, but who has now relocated to Leeds, Skitty continues to push new material via his own record label 'Foundation X'. Tough amens and sample based material are hallmarks of Skitty's DJ sets, don't miss your chance to see one of the true soldiers in action!

Based in both Leeds, London & Birmingham, Terabyte Records is a breakthrough grass roots Drum & Bass imprint with rapidly expanding influence. This DJ / producer duo are noted for playing forward thinking Drum & bass and they will be making their debut appearance for Central Beatz. We've always championed local DJs & producers down at the event, and we're very much looking forward to hearing what these guys have to offer. Keep a close eye on this label over 2014 as we expect big things to happen!

CALACO JACK [Symbiosis Glasgow]

Symbiosis Glasgow can easily be interpreted as the sister event to Central Beatz, with both events observing the same ethic of promoting new directions in bass orientated music as well as supporting local DJs & producers at their events. It's unlikely that Central Beatz founder LD50 would have taken up mixing records without his brother Calaco Jack having left vinyl & a pair of turntables around, so once again life spins around full circle and we welcome in another set from this veteran DJ with a hugely diverse record selection.

GANDHI

After searching for DJ names related to his career in programming, we managed to talk Gandhi out of using the names 'Illegal Character' or 'Fatal Exception' mainly due to that fact that it probably look weird printed on the event flyer! Ever changing his music to suit his frequently changing name, this DJ has embraced the new and very much dance floor ready Bass Music which we're certain will do this event justice!

Central Beatz : Friday 15th November 2013 ft. Xtrah

Join us for another storming session of bass, beatz and cutting edge new music at Beat Bar Leeds with special guest Xtrah!

Xtrah has been hugely successful as of late - 2013 has just seen some amazing new material released on Symmetry Recordings which firmly places Xtrah on the DNB circuit as a DJ to watch out for.

Heading over from Hull based event 'Shinobi', Shimah [Playaz] will be playing a set of hot new material alongside MC AOB.

Buried Audio's Saint & Onyx assemble on stage for a 4 deck back to back set of DNB, something that we're all excited to see and no doubt will be awesome to watch too.

Full Fat's Onset plays back to back with resident DJ LD50, and Subdub's Finwa will be warming up the proceedings with deep cuts of bass heavy dubstep.

Hosting the night's proceedings will be MC JC - a veteran MC with many residencies across the UK and further afield, plus productions as 'Bad Education' has seen this artist massively expand his creative horizons.

All presented in the intimate Leeds city center venue 'Beat Bar' with crystal clear Funktion One sound and friendly vibes all night.

∆ ANTAGONIST  [Flexout Audio / Pandemik, Manchester]

With new releases hitting stores right now on Flexout Audio, Antagonist has been working hard in the studio to develop his own vision of DNB and broken beats. Having honed his skills as a resident DJ at Manchester based 'Pandemik' and other club nights, Antagonist has supported acts such as Loxy, Skeptical, Data, Amit and Clarity. Drawing inspiration from the distinctive Manchester DNB sound, Antagonist is quickly carving his own route into the to scene.

∆ FINWA  [Subdub / Tribe Records]

Expect nothing less than a finely crafted set from this Leeds based DJ, who is equally comfortable with Dubstep and DNB behind the decks. Working  at Tribe records and as a resident DJ for Subdub, Finwa always has an ear to the ground for the latest tracks. Finwa is showing no slowing down with DJ appearances in the future at Selective Hearing, Exodus and Croatian based Outlook Festival.
