I think it just depends on how ur family talks bc dreams mom and dad don’t have that accent. I don’t know his whole history but maybe his fam isnt originally from Florida. I live not tooo far away from there and people I know that grew up here don’t have an accent
the thing is me and my parents are all originally from puerto rico but i dont talk exactly like my parents bc ive lived in the US for a like 8 years now and im younger so my accent is more susceptible to change. meaning i talk more like my peers and my parents talk more like how they always have
