Our Crucafix Orchid never stops flowering (epidendrum radicans) it seems to be always in flower and adding colour to the garden. It has been in continuous flower since I first posted in October last year! The plant forms “offsets” (complete new plants) and once four or more roots have formed, the offset can be snapped off, potted up, and grown on without really affecting its growth. It’s from the middle elevations in Central America. Common names also include ground-rooting epidendrum, fire-star orchid, rainbow orchid, and reed-stem epidendrum. This plant is so generous and really asks for nothing. I have several different colours but am always looking for new ones. #orchid #CrucifixOrchid #EpidendrumRadicans #RainbowOrchid #centralamerican #abcmygarden #myplants #homegrown #flower #ausgarden #southamerican #hardy #longflowering (at Belmont, New South Wales, Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CjmsAt0rNGk/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
